Persons with Disabilities Should Maintain Adequate Hydration Daily

4.1 Forms of hydration:

  1. “When choosing beverages in a healthy dietary pattern, both the calories and nutrients that they provide are important considerations. Beverages that are calorie-free—especially water—or that contribute beneficial nutrients, such as fat-free and low-fat milk and 100% juice, should be the primary beverages consumed. Coffee, tea, and flavored waters also are options, but the most nutrient-dense options for these beverages include little if any, sweeteners or cream.” Harvard School of Public Health
  2. Fluid recommendations will depend on activity level, medical conditions, gender, and size.
  3. Water Intake Calculator
    1. “Our online calculators, converters, randomizers, and content are provided “as is”, free of charge, and without any warranty or guarantee. Each tool is carefully developed and rigorously tested, and our content is well-sourced, but despite our best effort it is possible they contain errors. We are not to be held responsible for any resulting damages from proper or improper use of the service.”
